Brand Identity Refresh
The client felt they had hit a wall with their outdated brand identity and it was hindering the nonprofit by failing to resonate with current audiences and wasn’t keeping up with industry trends. This successful rebrand involved a thoughtful and strategic approach, including market research and a clear understanding of the brand’s core values and mission.
I wanted the refresh to reflect the company’s evolution and growth while also retaining elements that are integral to the brand’s history and identity. The logomark was simplified – giving it a modern feel. The typography was updated to reflect the cleaner look. The color palette was overhauled, adding colors that reflect what is seen in nature – blue water, green plants, and earthy tans. Ultimately, this was a successful rebranding effort resulting in a relevant and compelling brand identity.
Creative Print
The creative print design process for a nonprofit that protects Florida’s lands, waters, wildlife, and natural resources begins with understanding the organization’s mission and values. The designs needed to effectively communicate the brand identity as well as the importance of conservation and environmental protection. I incorporated relevant imagery, typography, and colors that evoke a sense of nature and conservation.
Once the initial designs were completed, feedback from stakeholders and audience testing was gathered to refine the design and ensure its effectiveness in achieving the organization’s goals. Overall all pieces came together to create a visually compelling and meaningful visual idenity. I am thankful to have been a part of creating things that can inspire action and drive engagement towards protecting Florida’s precious natural resources.
Web Design
To start the web design process, I conducted research on the organization’s target audiences, their needs, and how they would interact with the website. I collaborated with the organization’s team to identify key information and features that needed to be included on the website.
I then created wireframes and prototypes to visualize the layout and functionality of the website. Throughout the design process, I ensured that the website aligned with the nonprofit’s mission, values, and branding. Finally, I tested the website’s performance, usability, and accessibility to ensure that it met the highest standards.
